Perimenopause and Menopause
2021 - completed advanced techniques in Reflexology for Menopause course with Sally Earlam.

Menopause is a natural part of aging that normally occurs between the ages of 45 and 55 as a women's hormone levels decline. During this time of fluctuating hormone levels, known as perimenopause, many women can struggle with any number of unpleasant symptoms both physical and emotional. It can be an anxious and isolating time for some women.
Reflexology is a truly wonderful therapy to help women in a time of transition into a new stage of life. By regulating the nervous system through gentle stimulation of the endocrine system we can relieve stress and tension making unwelcome symptoms more bearable and helping you to feel like yourself again. I can also discuss with you additional ways to support this process while providing a space to relax, unwind and revitalize.

Research has shown that reflexology is an effective therapy for sleep disorders and hot flushes in menopause.*
